Proactively Working to Protect Our Community

Dear Clients/ Friends of City Pets Animal Clinic,

In this constantly evolving situation, our priority is to make every effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus to our staff and clients. We are open and seeing patients in person or via a telemedicine appointment. We are asking clients to wait outside the exam rooms as it is a small confined space. However owners are welcome to watch their pets exam through the glass door.

If you have a concern about your pet’s health, require a prescription refill or need to purchase any of our products, please call (250-370-1950) or email the clinic (citypetsclinic@gmail.com), and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that you can also purchase any products or prescriptions thorough our on-line webstore by following the link on our website, citypetsclinic.com/webstore or by going to mywebstore.ca/citypets.

If your pet requires urgent medical care, please contact one of the 24 hour emergency hospitals, the Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital, at 250-475-2495 or WAVES, at 778-432-4322. Life threatening conditions will be prioritized. If you are unsure please call us or CVVH to discuss.

We are disinfecting every surface after each use (computer keyboards, phones, counter tops, products etc.) We are practicing social distancing by reducing the number of staff at the clinic and limiting any interaction to no closer than 6 ft of others.

We really appreciate your understanding as we navigate the best way to look after your wonderful pet family members, while at the same time taking all precautions to prevent transmission of COVID-19. If you have any questions at any time, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
