Our Response To COVID-19
Proactively Working to Protect Our CommunitY
Dear Clients/ Friends of City Pets Animal Clinic,
We are open, however we have decided to restrict access into the clinic to staff only. Patient care will be coordinated through telemedicine (phone or video). Product and prescription purchases will be arranged prior to pick up, please call or email.
All products will be wiped down with a disinfectant upon delivery to the clinic and again at the time of sale. Our staff will be practicing safe distances and continue disinfection of all surfaces before/ after each use. You may arrange pick-up of products at any time convenient for you during our normal business hours.
If you have a concern about your pet’s health, require a prescription refill or need to purchase any of our products, please call us (250-370-1950) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Appointment times will be arranged and the method of communication decided upon depending on your preferences. Payments can be made over the phone with a credit card for telemedicine consultations and/or product purchases.
If your pet does require urgent medical care, please contact the 24 hour emergency hospital, the Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital, at 250-475-2495. Life threatening conditions will be prioritized. If you are unsure please call us or CVVH to discuss.
Please note that you can also purchase any products or prescriptions through our on-line webstore by following the “webstore” link on our website, citypetsclinic.com, or by going to mywebstore.ca/citypets .
For telemedicine phone or video appointments, we ask that you provide a detailed history of your concern via email prior to the appointment time if possible. You may attach a photo or video to this email that provides additional information. Live video chat is also an option. Please let us know what you have available (eg. FaceTime, Skype etc). Any medications or products that may be required after the assessment can be picked up at the clinic or ordered on-line. Please let us know if you will require delivery of products.
When you are arriving at the clinic to pick up your purchases, please remain in your car and call us (250-370-1950) from your cell phone to advise us of your arrival. We will bring it to the door promptly for you. Please give staff the minimum 6ft distance.
We kindly ask for your understanding as we navigate the best way to look after your wonderful pet family members, while at the same time taking all precautions to prevent transmission of COVID-19. If you have any questions at any time, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
